This extranet will be implemented as a ‘petal’ on Networks Online which means it will carry the project’s own branding and be accessible from the project website (when one is in place) while at the same time benefiting from sharing resources, such as the telephone helpline and Experts Online with other networks. The buildling of the extranet will be done in 4 steps: 1) users will receive basic IT training; 2) stakeholders will participate in a design and commitment workshop to ensure that the extranet has the features required by the network; 3) the extranet will be built according to the outcome of the workshop; 4) users will be trained in the use of the extranet.
